Chiyaan Vikram’s Iru Mugan is fast reaching near the finish line. The film is said to have its audio and trailer launch on the 2nd August. We catch up with editor Bhuvan Srinivasan to know the updates and this is what he had to say:
“The film has come out well and we are all satisfied. It is quite an achievement for a film of this scale to be wrapped in straight seven months. You will see stylized visuals. I am just about completing my work and would wrap it in 4-5 days.
We are working towards releasing on September 1st. This would give us a five day weekend as 5th is Vinayaka Chathurthi. It is like a Pooja holiday weekend. Besides that, the next Friday, September 9th is Onam weekend and so we will almost have like a 15 day holiday season. The film should definitely work for all. The duration is likely to come around two and a half hours max. We are yet to lock the length, though”.
Bhuvan is also working in Arun Vijay’s Kuttram 23 which is looking at a release window of September end.
