Yenda Thalaila Yenna Vekkala (YTYV), may sound like a normal phrase that parents tell their youngsters but this is the title of an upcoming Tamil film, that is produced by musician and GV Prakash’s mom A R Raihanah and directed by debutant Vignesh Karthik. The film has Azhar, a newcomer and Sanchita Shetty in the leads. We caught up with Raihanah to know more:
“I liked the script of Vignesh which immediately made me say yes to the project. It will be a humor based fantasy thriller. A simple act of not having oil in the hair leads to a major problem for the hero and YTYV is all about that. It would be a fun ride but at the same time, will have elements of thrills.
I know Azhar from my Aahaa FM days and he has always impressed me. I came to know that he was looking out for a break in films and when director Vignesh’s choice was also him, it made things easier. Azhar has done a wonderful job. The very first shot, he carried himself with a lot of confidence and never looked as though he was debuting.
Sanchita Shetty’s role is very cute and the audience will love her. The supporting cast of Yogi Babu, Mansoor Ali Khan, Muthuraaman (Vazhakku en 18/9 fame), Uma Padmanaban, Dr.Sharmili and Archana (Vijay TV) have all done their roles very well.

I have scored music and there are two songs and another one a promo number. Abhay Jodhpurkar and Saindhavi have rendered a number. Post production is on now and we would soon announce the release date”, signs off the upbeat Raihanah.
Wishing you the best Raihanah!
