Tamil filmmakers Venkat Prabhu and Rajesh are coming together for an upcoming yet-untitled comedy film.
As we had reported earlier this week director Venkat Prabhu will be directing a film with story and dialogues written by director M.Rajesh. This film will be produced by T.Siva of Amma Creations banner which is celebrating its 25th year.
Venkat Prabhu announced about the project during the promotional Press meet for his upcoming film 'Chennai 28 II' held on Tuesday last (September 13).
Speaking about the film, producer Siva said "This is a proud moment for our Amma Creations. On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of our company Amma creations we are determined to repay the audience for their support to our company through a massive combination. Venkat Prabhu and Rajesh are the two iconic pillars in making laughter riots and I am very much glad to produce this film for which Venkat Prabhu does the screenplay and direction, and Director Rajesh carves the story and script. My earlier association with Venkat Prabhu for Saroja, and now with Rajesh for Kadavul irukkan Kumaru has strengthened my trust on them..."
Director Rajesh’s ‘Kadavul Irukaan Kumaru’ is expected to hit the screens as a Diwali 2016 treat in October. ‘Chennai 28 II’ produced and directed by Venkat Prabhu is scheduled to hit the screens on November 10.
The formal announcement about the cast, crew and commencement of the film in which these two laughter therapists will team up can be expected after that.
