Having spelled up a mammoth performance in negative role in Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Manithan, Prakash Raj also managed to win our hearts even with his miniscule role in ‘Thozha’. Now he has been signed to play Nivin Pauly’s father named KJ Sagayam in Tamil remake of super hit Kannada movie ‘Ulidhavaru Kandante’. The film is tentatively is titled as ‘Santa Maria’, directed by debutant Gautham Ramachandran and features Kannada actress Shraddha Srinath in female lead. Prakash Raj and Nivin Pauly play father-son roles, where there is always difference of opinions between them. They are often seen meeting only at church prayers and not at their homes.
