Last month there were huge speculations in the media that director Sundar C would join hands with Vijay for Sri Thenandaal Films 100th project ‘Sangamithra’ touted as the costliest Indian film ever. However, it was later revealed that Vijay politely refused the offer stating the bulk date requirements as the issue.
Now, the latest buzz is that the Ilayathalapathy has agreed to star in a new film to be produced by Sri Thenandaal Films to be directed by Atlee who has already been paid the advance amount. It is still unclear whether it would be ‘Vijay 61’ or ‘Vijay 62’ the blockbuster ‘Theri’ combo of Vijay and Atlee will begin work on. We have to await official confirmation which is expected pretty soon.
