Natalie Portman Back On Board With Marvel.

By Odin’s beard! After two “Thor” movies, Natalie Portman says she’s done with the Marvel Cinematic Universe ― and wouldn’t you be, too?
Controversial opinion time: In “Thor: The Dark World,” the chemistry between Natalie Portman’s intrepid scientist, Jane Foster, and Chris Hemsworth’s Thor was always a little lacking. It was never Anakin Skywalker and Padmé Amidala bad, but it certainly wasn’t good.
“As far as I know, I’m done,” she told told The Wall Street Journal on Wednesday. “I mean, I don’t know if maybe one day they’ll ask for an ‘Avengers 7’ or whatever. I have no idea. But as far as I know, I’m done. But it was a great thing to be a part of.”
In May, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige confirmed that Portman would be absent from the third installment of the “Thor” franchise, “Thor: Ragnarok,” which opens in November 2017. Feige told The Empire Film Podcast that there are “many reasons, many of which are in the film” for her departure, because “the majority ... of the movie, takes place in the cosmos.”
