Actress Angana Roy of Ragalaipuram and Manithan fame will be seen in a glamorous role in the upcoming flick Kadisi Bench Karthik, which stars Bharath in the lead.
"It's an extremely glamorous role but nothing about it will be dirty. Unlike my previous roles, audiences will find it a tad glamorous and at the same time the portrayal will be very modern. I'm quite excited about the role," Angana told IANS.
Being directed by Bhargavan, Angana plays Bharath's love interest in the movie, which is also being simultaneously made in Telugu.
"The characters Bharath and I play are poles apart. While I play a glamorous role, he plays a nerdy character that will be mostly seen wearing loose pants. He doesn't know much about the outside world," she said, and added that Bharath's character comes with a lot of twists.
Angana, who has already shot for a week, feels that the days are very long on the sets.
"Apart from a few scenes, we even shot a very glamorous song. We're working on double call sheet, and hence, most days are very long on the sets. Since it's a bilingual, most scenes have to be shot twice with a different set of actors," she said.
