'Ulaganayagan' has been honoured by the Government of France with the Chevalier award.






images (1)Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan is unarguably the pride of Indian cinema on the world arena. The actor, writer, director, and producer has through his films made the world look at Indian cinema with respect.
Now in his 57th year of the career, the multi-talented legend has been honoured by the Government of France with the Chevalier award  
Earlier, the honour was accorded to legendary actor Sivaji Ganeasan who received the Chevalier in 1995. Kamal has always called himself as a protege of the Nadigar Thilagam when it comes to acting and he has now honoured his Guru by emulating him.
Chevalier is one of the highly regarded International honours given for contribution in the art industry and Kamal becomes its recipient makes this a proud moment for the Indian film fraternity as well as the film buffs across the country.  
Chevalier is yet another shining diamond on his crown. After winning three National awards for acting apart from  Padma Sri and Padma Bhushan, the two Civil honors given by the Indian Government, the Ulaganayagan has lot more International honors waiting to be achieved by him. 
Ch-90 joins the nation in saluting Chevalier Kamal Haasan for bringing more pride to the nation and its Art industry.
