Last seen sharing screen space with Ilayathalapathy Vijay in AL Vijay's Thalaivaa, actor-dramatist YG Mahendra will be seen in an interesting role in the Kaththi actor's upcoming film, Vijay 60.
In the movie, the 66-year-old actor plays Vijay's boss and will also take part in one of the many high octane action sequences the film has.
"In Vijay 60, I essay Vijay's boss and it was great sharing screen space with him as I know him right from his childhood. I still have three more days of shoot left for the movie and I will be a part of an action sequence as well," Mahendra told Deccan Chronicle.

Among the actors who are sharing screen space with Vijay for the second time, 'Mottai' Rajendran, who was seen in Theri, will once again play a cop in Vijay 60, it is said.
Meanwhile, YG Mahendra has three more exciting projects under his belt. He will be essaying crucial roles in Arya's Kadamban, Vijay Antony's Saithaan and Simbu's Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan (AAA).
Speaking about his role in the Simbu-starrer, the veteran actor has said after a long time he is playing the role of a comedian.
"For the past three years, I've been doing only character roles. With this role, I am back to my forte, which is comedy. I play Shriya Saran's father and it's a fun-filled role. I've completed my portions and the majority of my scenes are with STR and VTV Ganesh."
According to Mahendra, Simbu was the one who had recommended his name for the role.
"I found him (Simbu) to be a very talented person who knows a lot about cinema. And I heard from my director that STR was the one who insisted that I play the role. He's got a high scope for performance in this film," he told the leading daily.
