Actress Trisha Krishnan, who has woven a successful career for herself in the competitive world of Tamil cinema, is largely happy about how things have panned out in the last 17 years since her debut. But the 33-year-old has just one regret.
Despite being one of the most successful actresses in the Tamil film industry for such a long period of time, the Yennai Arindhaal girl is not happy about one thing - not sharing screen space with superstar Rajinikanth.
Speaking to Deccan Chronicle at an event in Chennai, Trisha has expressed her disappointment over her absence in a Rajinikanth-starrer.
"I am really upset about not acting with Superstar Rajinikanth. I mean who wouldn't? Even a budding star in the country would dream of sharing the screen with him," she has said.
Among the upcoming stars, Trisha wants to act with Vijay Sethupathi and Sivakarthikeyan. "I would like to act with Vijay Sethupathy and Siva Karthikeyan. They are doing some good cinema."
Trisha is happy about starring in a host of woman-centric films of late. She has said directors nowadays are coming up with more number of women-oriented movies, which is a healthy sign.
