Holding the 16th skateboard in his arms, actor/musician Justin Timberlake took his opportunity at the Teen Choice Awards, not to spread fame, but spread wisdom. He is one among the clan of celebs who look effortlessly ageless, despite being 35. The young father chose to inspire, and taught to respect.
"I was blessed to be raised by my parents, and elders in the family, who taught me big lessons," JT said, addressing the adolescent audience. "They taught me to respect them. They taught me to respect myself and to respect all people on the basis of their character - not where they live, not what they did for a living, or the color of their skin." With so much ego floating around the world, those are powerful words coming from a potential inspiration.
Further quoting late boxing champion Muhammed Ali, JT said "Don’t count the days, make the days count.’ Do not think for a moment that what you do doesn’t count. It does. Not just to you, but also to the world and your generation, who will someday inherit this world from old-timers like me and Kobe," referring to legendary basketball champion Kobe Bryant, who had also graced the occasion of 23rd Teen Choice Awards, on Sunday.
