The director of Thirudan Police, Caarthick Raju is all set with his second film, Ul Kuthu, after making a good mark with his debut outing. Dinesh would again play the lead role in the movie while Kenanya Films would be funding the venture again after Thirudan Police. Ul Kuthu is intended as a family friendly commercial movie.
Meanwhile Thirudan Police is running in around 240 to 250 screens in Tamil Nadu after opening in 200 screens on 14th. The positive word of mouth has resulted in increased screens and the film is expected to draw in the family crowds in the 2nd week too, despite the new releases.
