Madras was one of the year's rare film which was a commercial blockbuster as well as being critically acclaimed. Pa Ranjith was rumored to work with Suriya next, There was a buzz that that duo were teaming up for a out an out romantic love story.
Now Director Ranjith has himself confirmed the association with Suriya stating this to Deccan Chronicle, “Everything is finalised now. I am teaming up with Suriya for my next film, which will be produced by Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green. It’s a complete action-drama, which is totally different from Madras. This time, Chennai won’t be my film’s backdrop.”
