After a handsome opening weekend, Vijay's Kaththi has emerged with a big fat total in all the release markets - be it domestic or overseas.
The 5 day opening weekend gross from UK, USA and Australia are as follows.
UK - 222,526 pounds (around 2.2 crores) - Already the 2nd highest grosser of the year behind Jilla, and reportedly the all-time 2nd highest weekend opener after Enthiran.
USA - 570,207 USD (around 3.5 crores) - Already the 2nd highest grosser of the year behind Kochadaiiyaan, and Vijay's highest US grosser. In fact, Kaththi is the highest non-Rajini, non-Kamal grosser in the US.
Australia - 160,979 ASD (around 87.1 lakhs) - Already the highest grosser of the year in Australia and reportedly the all-time highest weekend opener in Australia.
